IVF Round 5 This one was a rollercoaster. It started well with the most follicles ever on the first scan, (4 follicles as opposed to 1 or 2). Then I fell ill with some sort of 24-48 hour virus. Second scan, one follicle of collectible size and we decided to go for it. One egg was collected. It fertilised and we had the transfer today. We slid from "good", (second best rating), to "There's a bit of fragmentation today but we're going ahead.". So we're on the two week wait again. Paring it all back, I'm grateful that my body has recovered from the loss in August to become pregnant again.
